JOS Mundo — Bayong Slipper and Fettuccine Platform

JOS Mundo brings forward a reimagined Filipino classic in the Bayong Slipper, alongside a new version of their familiar Fettuccine footwear: a natural progression from their archival Marikina-made sapatilyas.

The women behind the brand join the conversation of leisurely clothing, punctuated by their deep-rooted preference for classic shapes transformed by contemporary sensibilities. The pieces give these wardrobe staples a new radiance — catering to those who long for the chance of ease and lounging in the city while keeping a way into nature.

Crafted with hand braided multi-colored leather straps, a grosgrain fabric thong, and a wide brimmed E.V.A footbed with a colored midsole; finished with a rubber tractor sole, the Bayong Slipper evokes the confident contrasts and exquisite craftsmanship that are at the heart of JOS. The release is accompanied by the Fettuccine Platform, a revision of their flagship sandal now constructed with a rubber wedge sole.

To support its release, Tropa is rejoined by the brand as we lend our space to the piece. The Bayong Slipper is now available in-store in two colorways: Lilac Street exclusively for the Manila shop all throughout September, and Meadow available specially for our Siargao station, while the Fettuccine Platform makes its way onto our shelves in its Leaf/Petal colorway.
